The real or Ceylon cinnamon, Cinnamomum zeylanicum Blume (syn. Cinnamomum verum Berchthold & Presl), and seven additional cinnamon species are native to Sri Lanka. Which means they are naturally restricted or belong exclusively to Sri Lankan geographical area.
